Terms and conditions

Jan 1st, 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the AdChain and AdToken websites, accessible via https://www.adchain.com and https://www.adtoken.com (collectively, the “Sites”).

By accessing or using the Sites, the AdChain Network, AdChain Protocol, the AdChain Publisher Registry, or any associated tools, smart contracts, token mechanisms, or governance mechanisms, you agree to be bound bythese Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

1.1. “AdChain” refers to the decentralized advertising registry and protocol designed to enhance transparency and integrity in the digital advertising supply chain.

1.2. “AdToken” (ADT) is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token used for governance, staking, and participation in the AdChain Protocol and Registry.

1.3. “Registry” means the AdChain Registry, a decentralized, token-curated registry (TCR) of publisher domains.

1.4. “Participant(s)” refers to any individual or entity that interacts with the AdChain protocol, including token holders, challengers, voters, and registry applicants.

1.5. “You” or “User” refers to any person or entity accessing or using the Sites or interacting with the AdChain/AdToken smart contracts.

2. Use of services

AdChain and AdToken are provided as decentralized technologies. The Sitesare informational interfaces only. Participation in the AdChain Registry, staking AdToken, and all related interactions occur via public smart contracts deployed on the Ethereum blockchain.

You acknowledge:

  • We do not host or control any on-chain assets.
  • We do not offer financial advice or guarantee outcomes.
  • Use of AdToken carries financial and technical risks.

3. Disclaimers

  • No Guarantees: AdChain and AdToken are experimental technologies. We make no guarantees of reliability, accuracy, uptime, or economic outcomes.
  • Not Investment Advice: Nothing on our Sites constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
  • Open Source Nature: Smart contracts are published open-source. Please review the code and audit reports on GitHub before use.

4. Participant responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Understanding and complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Securely managing your wallet and private keys.
  • Participating in the registry and staking processes with full knowledgeof risks.
  • Avoiding manipulation, fraudulent registry entries, or sybil attacks.

Any use of the Sites, Registry, or AdToken that violates the Ethereum network rules, smart contract logic, or general ethical standards may result in loss of funds or disqualification from governance roles.

5. Smart contracts and finality

All protocol and registry actions, including voting, challenging, and staking, are governed exclusively by smart contract logic. Once an action is confirmed on-chain, it is final and immutable. We do not control nor have the ability to alter registry outcomes.

6. Privacy and data collection

We do not collect personal data unless you voluntarily provide it through contact forms. No cookies or tracking pixels are deployed unless explicitly stated.

You should assume all on-chain interactions are publicly visible, and any submission to the Ethereum blockchain is permanent.

7. Modification of terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting changes to the Sites. Continued use of the Sites and/or protocol indicates acceptance of the modified Terms.

8. Third-party links and software

Our Sites may link to third-party content (e.g., wallets, explorers, analytics tools). These links do not imply endorsement, and we are not responsible for the availability or content of those external services.
